I am thrilled to be called to serve God and the St. James
community!
I was ordained to the priesthood on May 21, 2011. I was proud to be was Bishop William Franklin’s first ordination after he was consecrated as the 11th Bishop of the Diocese of Western New York. I attended seminary at Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora (a Roman Catholic institution) and completed Anglican Formation through our diocese. I had a wonderful learning and formational experience through both.
My husband Tim and our two sons, Patrick and Matthew are the loving center of my life, and I give thanks for them every day. Ministry is about sharing love. I have been given love so abundantly by God, and I am blessed to share that love with others. I am a life-long Episcopalian, and from my earliest childhood my parents showed me that God is love, and God's love is for everyone. Life is filled with joy and sadness, with challenge, failure and success. I have found that it is in my most difficult times that God's grace has most clearly been shown to me.
It is in dark times that the love of family, friends and community give us the encouragement that is the grace of God working in and through God's people. St. James is a community of people that love, share and support. We're not perfect, but we see, feel and live the perfect love of God in our lives. Come and visit St. James. We welcome everyone to our worship services, community events, fish fries, bible studies and many other events.
Come and bring your light to us, and we'll share our light with you!
